Hercule Poirot

As promised here is the first post where I tell you about my favourite detectives. My absolute favourite is undoubtedly Hercule Poirot, I hope that many of you already know him! Poirot is a character created by the writer Agatha Christie. Particular signs? Belgian accent, huge and well-groomed moustache, short and rounded, always super elegant and eccentric, with his inevitable stick, bow tie and top hat!He is always attentive to the smallest details and fussy, very famous also and above all for his poor temperament and a little arrogance that, however, put together made him a brilliant man recognised as such by himself and by the twentieth century English bourgeois class. He made his first debut in 1920 with the novel “The mysterious affair at Styles” and then he appeared in other 32 novels and other short stories, he appeared in theatres, radios, movies and televisions. I got to know him with the wonderful (at least for me) TV series entitled ‘Poirot’. My absolute favourite episode is… in which he solves that murder of… ..
